SERVING OUR CLIENTS FOR OVER 20 YEARS
Dear homeowners,
My name is Anna Fletcher. I am the oldest daughter of Jeff Fletcher, the owner of Fletcher Inspections. You may know my dad as diligent and friendly home inspector, but you may not know he is also an amazing dad and an all around cool person. He started Fletcher Inspections when I was a baby (18 years ago) and the business and I have grown up together. In the beginning my dad was the only employee and worked around the clock. Still, he somehow made time to dance with me during Beauty and the Beast at least a hundred times and be an active part of my life. My dad is a wonderful role model to me as a business owner and person. He always leads with kindness and respect, and taught me to do the same. Going to the grocery store with him is like attending a dinner party; he knows nearly everyone by name and always initiates friendly conversation with strangers. My dad is also the…

Jeff Fletcher and Kyle Burmis performed a Buyers Home Inspection on a condo that I am purchasing. These two gentlemen are fantastic! They were friendly and professional, thorough, and went above and beyond in educating me (first time home owner) about maintenance around the condo.
When I called the office, the administrator said that they were book through next week but took the time to track down and ask Jeff anyway to squeeze me in that same week, and Jeff agreed! I also prepaid for a radon test, which Jeff later told me I did not need since my condo was above another unit, and he refunded that portion of my payment.
Jeff and Kyle checked everything from the power outlets to the appliances, to the furnace and circuit breaker box, and even scanned for cold spots/leaks. (They also did a ton more that I'm not listing here) They took detailed pictures, gave excellent explanations, and even provided helpful resources for my future maintenance needs. I am keeping their contact information for future service needs.
10/10 would recommend Fletcher Inspections!

We contracted Fletcher Inspections to evaluate a home we had made an offer on. Matt Westlund was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and quite honest about areas he would suggest we seek further information from a specialized contractor. He did a remarkably thorough job, did not rush and took time to answer questions and explain things he had found in as much detail as I requested.

Thomas and Matt did an inspection on our house today and I can’t tell you the level of excellence and professionalism exhibited by these two gentlemen. Matt did an excellent/thorough job of inspecting...every...single.... detail...of the house. Thomas also did a great job too and was wonderful by taking the time to explain just how the water and sewage system worked and how to maintain it. We couldn’t have had a better experience. These two are 5 star!

Radon’s existence is not something that most homeowners or potential home buyers consider when moving into a new home. The overall condition of the water running through your home’s supply is vitally important, and it’s something that is certainly worth paying attention to. We often meet residents who have not considered the possibility of water contamination by harmful microorganisms. This facet of your home can be tricky, mostly if your home’s water supply tastes and smells normal.

With the strategic methods we utilize, we make it easy for our home inspection Ann Arbor MI clients to trust and rely on our professionals to correct and rectify any potential hazards concerning the water in your home.

Many people don’t know that Michigan has all kinds of wood destroying including, Termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees and powder post beetles. We do FHA/VA, Department of Navy, HUD, USDA pest inspections and more.
There’s nothing like finding out that your home has a pest infestation issue that you’re not sure where it all started or when it all started. One of the most common problems we come across is home pest infections that are detected once a large portion of damage has already been done, especially to wooden structures.
Depending on what type of material your home consists of and your home’s pest infestation history, our inspectors can quickly pinpoint whether or not bugs are something you should wonder about.
One of the first things we recommend to home inspection Ann Arbor residents when attempting to decipher whether their home has a pest infestation issue is to think about any possible red flags that you came across recently and mistakenly overlooked. If you have noticed droppings or home structures that appear like they have been nibbled at, please reach out to our inspectors.
The more we converse with our clients who come to us for home inspections, we find that one of the most overlooked areas of testing is mold testing. The presence of mold in a home becomes typically more evident as time passes by, which is why we are always trying to wrap our heads around why so many people don’t consider it as an issue when they begin experiencing problems like low breathing.
If you’re a homeowner or potential home buyer of an older home and need a mold testing home inspection in Washtenaw County or any of our other service areas, we would suggest not waiting until the mold grows and becomes an alarming hazard.
We love working with the residents in Michigan to help resolve these types of problems with accurate testing that ensures a higher level of safety for you and your family.
